Being a guitar player, with very limited keyboard facilities, I feel somewhat “cut off” certain possibilities to write and arrange for horns using BiaB.
Slurs, bends, shakes, increasing the volume of an already playing note, vibrato etc. (and there probably are more) are (as far as I know) difficult to impossible to insert using the computer keyboard.
I suggest therefore that the next BiaB issue includes a “library” of notes with the above mentioned possibilities, which than can copied into an arrangement, much like the piano and piano trio intros, that come with BiaB and can be copied into an arrangement.

Hi tonnie - while this isn't something I'm interested in, I suggest you be a little more clear in your request. I think you request refers to embellishing the graphics/symbols of the leadsheet window - on screen and printed. That seems reasonable. If you are also asking BIAB to alter the played music to reflect these effects, that's another issue.

Hi Tonnie, I’m going to assume that you mean to these articulations while you are playing and or recording.
What you are suggesting BiaB to do has to do more with what sound source are you using and your knowledge of midi. Some sound sources allow slurs. This is called legato mode and can be controlled with midi CC numbers. If your sound source doesn’t not respond to legato then you may not be able to do slurs correctly. I know that Garritan Jazz and Big Band, Aria player and Kontakt do allow for slurs. You will note that these can be quite expensive. The same is true with shakes, Falloffs, Doits and Kisses; that is the software must except it and you will need some midi CC knowledge to make it work. In some cases like Falloffs you can do it with just some midi CC’s.
Bends can be accomplished on most all sound sources via a pitch bend wheel. Vibrato can be accomplished in most all sound sources via a modulation wheel and or the pitch bend wheel. Note some midi controllers/keyboards do not use wheels but have a joystick. Volume increases can be done with midi CC11 or CC7.
I would suggest getting a midi keyboard controller. I have an old Evolution MK-4-49C. It has 9 sliders, 8 knobs, a pitch bend wheel, a modulation wheel and a 12 button keypad. All of these can be assigned to different CC numbers. It is much easier inputting CC data using a controller however you can draw CC data into BiaB or RB so you may be able to get the effects you desire right now.
I would also suggest you study up on midi controllers. They can bring your performances to life.
