I am considering ordering the UltraPAK and BIAB Offers an ~120GB download. Has anyone had experience with how fast the BIAB servers will serve up the files for download.? I have a max DL speed of 120 Mbps. Can their servers routinely serve at this speed or are they slower?
Any other comments people have about attempting this big download rather than paying for the hard drive to be delivered?

I download ultrapak each year with no problems. But I have have a Blazing Fast download (just tested to be 471mbps). I generally get it all downloaded and installed in under a couple hours of monitoring the computer. By the way, I have a 600 Mbps plan with xfinity. But where did you that the 120 GB figure. I thought this was discussed this morning and it is much less than that.

The PG Music servers are generally pretty fast. They changed server locations about a year ago, and IIRC there was certainly an improvement in download speed.

I've tried downloading the Ultrapak with the built in BIAB download manager which was really slow for me.
I always download the files directly from my account which is much faster for me.

The UltraPak UPGRADE offered each year is not the same as downloading the full UltraPak for the first time. If BackingTrack is saying he is going to download the entire UltraPak as a first time buyer, yes it will be around 130gb and will take a while depending on your DL Speed. The yearly upgrade is around 11gb

Thanks for that. Actually my plan is to buy the ProPAK 2022 first, as a first time buyer, and then upgrade to the UltraPAK 2022. BIAB assures me that this works well and saves the buyer about $60 over the initial first time buyer UltraPAK level download all at once. Strange pricing idea, but they assure me this is correct and OK. She even sent me a smiley face, have seen that I figured this out.

For large downloads, I usually set them up before I retire for the evening. Let them run all night. In the morning, finish the install or start over.
It is no worse than sitting there watching for the possible blip.

the download manager in BIAB is great...........my first ultrapack was years ago but when i reinstalled i had to download the files again and the download manager did it all while i got on with my life
