Hello everyone ;-) The song DIVIDED BY LIES was written because of the fact that in the last almost eighteen months of the pandemic, most people around the world have been lied to and deprived of their freedoms by their governments. The attempt to divide people into two classes is now the next chapter in a failed policy. Andi,
You get a LOT out of BIAB! A great driving Rock sound.
Good vocals. Good mix.
The cymbals are a little too prominent for my tastes. Dropping the high EQ would correct that. But, of course, that is a personal preference on my part. Some folks might like that abundant cymbal sound...

I was surprised myself how well BiaB is suited for hard rock.
However, in most projects the weak point is the solo guitar and
often the rhythm guitar. But what the heck,
that's what guitarists are for ;-)

This is extremely well-produced considering you only used BiaB. That part I liked a lot! The lyrics is your opinion... don't know if I agree with you there... but well... we are here for the music...  Will

I'm very happy that you like the song
Hard rock / Heavy Metal with 100% BiaB doesn't work for many songs.
But with Divided by Lies I succeeded in making the song
halfway believable.

Divided by Lies speaks the truth brother, so much truth.
Musically, it sounds to me as if you have blended The Scorpions with Nirvana. This is Big sound, BIG SOUND musically and lyrically!

Yes it is really bad and at least here in Germany
it is getting worse and worse. The song is more relevant than ever.
I made a video about it as well.
But I can only show that among friends, because here in Germany.
no second opinion on this subject is tolerated.
You have to imagine that. This is not North Korea, Russia or China.
This is really happening right here in Germany
and many other "free democratic" countries.
