Thanks Ghostgum for your very heartwarming words smile When I write in English I always feel that I'm writing English clumsily, so I'm really glad to read word 'eloquently' in post smile

Thanks Floyd for your pleasant feedback smile It was a big job to put all those RTs together and not to make the mix feel too crowded, so I'm glad to hear that it worked out.

Really well written, composed and put together Janne. Much more interesting than those formulaic hit songs.

Janne,
vibrant, uplifting arrangement. Very cool instrumentation. Seems a lot of effort went into it. Good vocals by you and your supportive robo girl. Thank you for sharing.

Wild! Very inventive all the way around and a really fun listen! My mind goes so many different ways with what I'm hearing. A little Ob-la-Di Ob-la-Da, a little Paul Simon, a little Dave Mathews Band...and many more. Every part interesting. Thanks for sharing this! I enjoyed it very much.

Thanks ES for your kind comment smile Glad to hear it's your favorite, even when the chord structure is simpler than usually. Yep, I want to follow my instincts and not others', even if I have to go out of my comfort zone.

Janne that is the only way to make music, i.e. do it your way.

And your way on this one is a complete winner!

Very interesting choice of instruments but they all blend well together thanx to your mixing skills.

Two thumbs up.

Thanks Misha for your uplifting feedback smile Yes, I worked quite a long time on the arrangement, just having fun trying different BIAB instruments and because I didn't have other music projects going on at that time.

"We are telling a story
from the magical dawn
through the turmoil of times
to the next generations
we are passing it on."

Great lines from a fascinating lyric.

Man, that number of tracks makes our heads spin.
That is a huge band but as Janice said, "he worked magic with them." RTs, loops, VSTs and more...wow! Nice melody too.

We admire any artist willing to experiment like this and especially when it turns out to be a fine production.

Kudos!

Janne,

Love your approach on this song. Very fresh and great use of RTs - an amazing amount for one song, but they blend so well.

Excellent!

Janne,

Percussions throughout the song are very nice.
They perfect fit this and they are the basis of this song.
Certainly the chord progression is very simple compared to your usual songs.
I agree with Peter.
That list of tracks is very impressive! Nicely put together and mixed.
Good catchy chorus and I liked the vocaloid singing along with you.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Wow, what an epic production. Very original (forget the pop stars' "hits"), this is a terrific work.
How you managed to mix and match so many tracks is above my pay grade.
Cheers,
Mike

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
