Here is another old one from my BIAB 2012 that I've been working on forever, it seems. I tried to rewrite the lyrics many times. I decided that the original lyrics were the ones to go with. I wrapped the project up today. The song is supposed to be about a guy with a problem that he must face but goes sailing on San Francisco Bay first. It is an easy listening style song.

Here is:

Sailing Golden Bay

Thanks for any listens and comments.

The particulars:

Golden Bay

Shining city
Shimmer pretty
In the morning Sun

I've got problems
But I'll solve them
When the day is done

And troubles slip away
When sailing Golden Bay

Met a girl here
Held her so dear
But things got real bad

Just like the fog
She drifted on
But I'm not too sad

Troubles slip away
When sailing Golden Bay

Yes, I'm sailing
Yes, I'm sailing
Sailing Golden Bay

Troubles slip away
When sailing Golden Bay

Tying loose ends
Facing head winds
Soon it's sink or swim

Beat to quarters
Stormy waters
Prospects sure look grim

But troubles slip away
When sailing Golden Bay

Troubles slip away
When sailing Golden Bay

I'm sailing Golden Bay
