hello. Im having problems understanding the wizard.
step 1 file- style- style wizard(auto create from midi)
step 2 open midi file.
once the midi file opens i am in the style creation wizard window.
in the top left area i get the options to solo or mute channels. when i try these options it doesnt make any difference. i mute all channels and the midi still plays everything, no matter what options i choose the whole midi still plays.
any advice for what i maybe doing wrong or misunderstanding how it should work. thanks.

There's a video of setting up the Style Creation Wizard, and although it is older, it might give some clue as to what your issue is.

Having a look at your attached screen shot of the Wizard.
You've only loaded the MIDI file Ramrod and not programmed any of your custom settings The entire song is set as substyle A with every Part Marker set as a drum fill No BB Parts have been assigned to the channels that have -----
At the moment, it seems you're set to just make a copy of the loaded style. This should work but it's likely not all of the instruments will be added because BB Parts are missing.
-----
To Customize and create a New style using sections of the original midi file. Select and use specific sections from the original midi file.
For example:
I opened a MIDI file and made my selections for a substyle A, assigned BB Parts and drum fills and created a Style of 8 Bars of Substyle A with a couple of drum fills. For a Substyle B, I would have repeated this process from a range of bars that comprised a Chorus\chorus drum fills and then named and saved this custom style in the Styles Folder.
Rebuild the StylePicker so it will add your custom style to the StylePicker.
Start a new song project, select your style and enter chords.
This should have your new custom style working.
-----
To test, I created a short style and song and gave it a thorough work out. I changed the key, tempo, added repeat, modulation and also added a regular PG Music Style into the song to make it a MultiStyle. I updated Midi patches to Hi-Q and SuperMidi and also updated the midi drums to RealDrums and everything worked flawlessly.
I purposely selected 8 bars that are a verse of the original midi file. There's no melody attached to the song but the verse is recognizable as long as the same chord progression is used. I did this to confirm the Wizard accurately duplicated the original midi notes.
in the top left corner of my screenshot there are options to solo or not play certain channels. when i loop play any number of bars i was thinking i would only hear the tracks i had soloed ,even when set to none, all channels still play.it makes no difference what i allow to solo or not everything still plays. this is the part i dont understand.

It's probably broken. The same thing was recently happening in the Midi Sequencer and PG Music fixed it in an update after I reported it. Likely the same issue with the Style Wizard. I'll report it to PG Staff.
