just try it. unless one of the BIAB gurus can say different, I'm not aware of anything you can't do in RB that you could in BIAB - and i think there's a lot more.

analyse the chords and you can add RTs, new midi instruments,change key, change tempo and edit midi parts.

and all on separate tracks you can see.

and if I remember from separate posts you don't have a good midi soft synth. get the TTS-1 free from Bandlab - see Peter Gannon's no brainer post.

Yes I can do it in RB. I've just started to feel my way into it - see recent post regarding NO midi sound now resolved.
I've also now got TTS-1 and Bandlab as you've recommended and (in RB anyway) it's made a goodly difference to the rounds. Thanks for reminding me.
First thoughts on RB as a DAW is that it's a bit 'clumsy' and way slower than BB at Generwte & Play but that could well be me and lack of expertise.

But I wanted to try splitting a midi in BB, my usual 'crewtion' tool hence my question.
