Peter, I think he is saying that while using major chords, sometimes the bass uses the minor third.. I have had that experience also. It's not the slash bass note so much as other notes chosen to go with it. At least that is how I read it, and maybe because of personal experience. If not, sorry to have hijacked the issue..
Example in an E7/D the bass may use the D and G (natural) instead of G#..
Regenerating often got me a lick with the major third.
I had not compiled a list of the RT #'s like he did, so I never reported it, considering it a fluke.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
