OK, first SUPER newbie question. I made an 8 bar song to play once. It has an "ending" on bar 9. Bars 10, 11, and 12 are still white however, and when the song ends, the sequentially highlighted bars continue to "play" 10 to 11 to 12.
What am I missing. My viewing so far of tutorials has not broached this.

Check out the Song Settings details for your song. By default, BiaB can add an ending, but you can generally change this, make it shorter etc. The Song Settings hot-key combination on <control>-N
