I find it a little confusing that this feature has "riff" in its name because a guitar riff and a guitar solo are two completely different things imho.. >>


I've found the Multiriff feature is more versatile both to your understanding and the explanations posted.
First. Yes, one can choose the best part of a particular solo to retain and then regenerate all the parts that need to be improved.
Second. In the PG Music Multiriff tutorial, Tobin demonstrates generating the entire melody instrument by comping 4 bar sections at a time.
Third. Multiriffs allow the user to select different instruments to play sections of a track.
Fourth. Multiriffs work with any RealTrack and not just for creating solos. Rhythm instruments, fills and drums can be generated/regenerated using Multiriffs.
