I've updated from 2020 Pro to 2022 Pro yesterday, and therefore I'm new to utility tracks. After hours of trying by myself, I now hope that you guys can help me. What I want to do is as follows:
Let's say I have a midi file with 5 tracks (e.g. Drums, Bass, Piano, Guitar and Flute), and I now want to import that midi into BiaB, so that each of the midi tracks is on a specific Utility Track afterwards (e.g. the whole content of the Midi Drum track lands on Utility Track 1, the whole content of the Midi Bass track lands on Utility Track 2 etc.). How can I achieve that?

what happens if you open in RealBand - which automatically splits the instruments into separate tracks - save as a BIAB file and then open in BIAB? i'd be interested to know - if it works it would be much easier!
I've tried that (although that feature is called "Import MELODY"), and it almost worked, but it turns all Utility Tracks into Piano tracks. Looks like a bug to me?

Even setting the patches manually just changes the instruments visually, but not accoustically (still all Piano sounds, even the drums btw).

Well, this could be a bug. Used to work ok in 2021 version. I see some other bugs with moving MIDI tracks, using the copy/special dialog. Hopefully they'll get things resolved.
Yeah, I've also encountered another midi problem, already. If I just choose a Midi file via "Open" from the "Files"-Menu, and then click "Play", it plays no sound at all.

the RealBand export to a BiaB file looks quite promising, but opening the file in BiaB (File - Open) fails; See below what the result looks like in BiaB. - Another bug, maybe?
