First of all, you have to decide which is the middle C you can agree upon. Then decide which register, since guitar is a transposing instrument. But who’s counting?
ps I’m speaking as a composer and arranger; my guitar playing is limited to one year of the Mel Bay book in fourth grade.
Matt, when we say middle C we mean the concert middle C, the one on a piano between the staffs. It is the MIDI nomenclature that has a few names for middle C, like C3, C4, or C5. Same note number, 60, but different names.
Oh, I know. I was just having fun. That MIDI 'standard' by different vendors is unfortunate, though.

Well, here is some stuff that is easy to miss. Look at the finger position on fret 5 for the A sus 4. What I do and what many guitar players do is move my little finger over to the G string 7th fret and mute the D string. I do this because forming the A sus 4 the way it is showed in the diagram is hard for me to do. Also It sounds fine to me.
Here is a little recording to explain some of my thinking. If I was not so lazy I would have made a video to demonstrate all this.

EDIT: I got to see Etta perform at the Fender Center in Corona California shortly before she died. Bo Diddly invited me backstage and I got to spend a bit of time with both of them. This recording I posted of her at Montreux was played by some of the best musicians in the world. I am glad we have these recordings to remember these unforgitable voices.

You listen, you watch, you get bloody fingers from trying to figure out the correct guitar chords. Then you find out the original guitar part: (1) used an alternate tuning, (2) playback was sped up or slowed down, (3) the guitar was not in tune.
You need to stop your whining and crying and belly aching and excuse making and get your self a copy of Guitar pro and study the damn licks like a man son. Like Chet and Jerry. Don't quit like a baby. Stay up all night until your fingers bleed.
It don't matter what they call them chords. Chet never cared. Jerry never learned the names. It only matters how they sound. Ain't you figured out country yet.

I can say the intro in Guitar Pro 6 that you posted is correct because I just sight-read it. Tabbed by biperdooodle...that certainly inspires confidence in its accuracy...lol
As far as not knowing the names of chords, am I to believe you don't know their names?...lol In the case of A sus 4, I never really needed to know the name because I could hear the interval so I get all that playing by ear stuff. So how would one go about using Guitar Pro 6 if they did not know anything? Besides what is all that ppp pp p stuff on the left? That some kind of Pro Tools thing?
Actually, I am learning the song by listening to Chris play it. The internet video does make that easier.
I have an acquaintance who had been flying small airplanes all over the country for years. Never got a license and never took any formal instruction. He finally killed himself in the LA fog. Being uneducated is not a condition I want to be in about anything I can do something about.
