I suggest adding a sync button to bbvst After clicking, the BPM of bbvst is automatically synchronized with the host without manual modification every time. I suggest adding this little feature. I wonder if you like it?
As I understand it, we cannot do that as the DAW does not notify the plugin of a BPM change ahead of time, only at the time the BPM change happens. BIAB needs to know the tempo before playing so it can generate the audio to play.
I posted your request in the development forum but it's already there if this is what you mean ? you click the little flashing dot.
Thanks Pipeline! For clarity's sake, this will only work if your DAW session has a single tempo in it - if there are tempo changes, it will not bring those into the plugin. I assumed swingbabymix was talking about the latter rather than the former.
The Plugin can match the DAW. The DAW cannot match the plug. This must be done in the DAW.

Thanks Simon! Scratching my head for a day or two and ran across this thread...
This behavior seems to apply in both directions: For example, I created an arrangement in BIAB with a tempo of 68bpm and changed the tempo to 92bpm 12 bars into the chorus using the bar settings dialog. When I drag the generated tracks into Reaper, the tracks play at 68bpm throughout. Whatever tempo I set for the song, that is the tempo the tracks are generated at and any changes are ignored. I can make style changes and other bar settings changes using the bar settings dialog, but the track files render at the starting tempo I've entered in BIAB.
This said, I have only experienced this issue since upgrading to 2022. In the 2021 version, tempo changes are rendered correctly in the generated tracks subsequently dragged to Reaper.
Is this a limitation and I missed it in the tutorials, or a bug and I'm the first to run into it?
Any insight is welcome even if it's RTFM. Thanks!
(BTW, haven't tried this with midi tracks as I work almost exclusively with RealTracks).
Modern DAWs can use real time stretching if they know the tempo of the original file. If you have the option to embed tempo in your files I believe it’s called acidize in the plug-in, The DAW is in control all files tempo after dragging it in.
This is the preferred way of working with tempos. After importing your files with embedded tempo you’re free to create your own tempo map and make the performance live or speed up or slow down with the ease of the tempo track in the DAW.

Perhaps for some but not for all. Some DAWs have the capability to "listen" to imported audio and count the beats to create a tempo map. Other DAWs have a method for the user to tap a tempo map while the user listens to playback in real time.
My experience has been that a DAW that imports audio with embedded tempo and time signature typically treats the audio as an audio loop and not as a complete, pre-recorded audio track.
I was referring to Studio One, Reaper, and Cakewalk. They use the same elastica.dll that BIAB uses allowing for real-time tempo shifting per a tempo map.
