Yes, specially now that we have all tracks equal, volume automation, audio editing in any track, multiriffs, motifs and so on, all fantastic features that allow unprecedented felxibility for creating arrangments in BIAB, the natural way of creating a song with the program is , IMO, linearly, with just one chorus, like in any other DAW. I suspect that's why now, new songs are 1 Chorus long by default.

256 bars seems a lot, but from a linear perspective, having a limit of 256 bars means that you only have 4 chorus for a 64 bars long jazz standard like, say, "Alice in Wonderland". Melody, solo, solo, and melody. That's all.

2022 has brought some features that, honestly, I've always have thought that we will never see, like 4 chords per bar or playable realtracks. Maybe the 256 bar limit's days are numbered smile
