Aye. Unfortunately that also why newbie bug reports often appear as misunderstandings and don't get addressed. On any software, not just BiaB. The workarounds just become the ways experienced users do things.

I used to have a guy who was really good at just shelving his knowledge and thinking "If I were new to this software, how might I expect to do this?".

He also quite often just did "dumb" things, just to see how the software coped with it.

He was very good indeed at uncovering the unexpected behaviours.
