Aye. Unfortunately that also why newbie bug reports often appear as misunderstandings and don't get addressed. On any software, not just BiaB. The workarounds just become the ways experienced users do things.
I used to have a guy who was really good at just shelving his knowledge and thinking "If I were new to this software, how might I expect to do this?".
He also quite often just did "dumb" things, just to see how the software coped with it.
He was very good indeed at uncovering the unexpected behaviours.

Yes, many of the 'This is a bug!! The world is about to end!!' reports in the forum are issues where someone just needs to be shown how to do something. I wish they would simply ask first. But if it's a genuine bug, especially if it's serious, some of us will make sure the developers see the problem. And you can always send an email to support@pgmusic.com and reference the thread. That's as much as we users can do, but it's a lot more effective here than for any other software I use. Of course, that may not be a fair comparison, since BIAB is a lot more powerful and complex than any other software I use.
