Time To Say Goodbye
If I may be so bold, I'd like to submit a new version of my, song Time to Say Goodbye. This time WITH VOCAL!
Fellow Forumite David Cuny (and his friend Eleanor Forte) supplied the vocal track for two verses from WH Auden's classic poem Stop All the Clocks, which was the original inspiration for my song..
Eleanor Forte, a synthetic voice for the program Synthesizer V, could be a very useful tool for all of us non-singing composers. Especially as the technology is improving so fast.
I'd be very interested in your comments about this vocal version (the vocal begins about 50 sec into the song).
Thanks. And a huge thank you to David for his time and expertise.

Verse (from 50.2sec to 1min:22)
Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Middle 8 (from 1min58 – 2min34)
He was my North, my South, my East and (my) West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last for ever: I was wrong.
