Yes and no.... Volume automation in the Audio Editor is only applied to audio. Midi velocity is edited as midi data unless a midi track is rendered to audio, then "Volume Automation" in the audio editor can be used.

YES BUT, Rendering tracks to audio increases file size substantially, and are not as easily manipulated, (making Utility tracks NOT Equal).


Users are still able to adjust a setting for "All Instruments" using the BIAB Mixer and make adjustments for specific instruments as needed. Grabbing a Volume, panning or reverb slider in the Mixer with the mouse while holding the keyboard Ctrl key will move all of the sliders at the same time. All tracks can also be Muted from the BIAB Mixer by using the Master Track Mute button.

The point was to be able to make changes at specific bars, for a specific periods, in multiple places. Not to make changes for the whole song.
