Lyrics: Yeah, Santa's in the Protocol, won't be no Xmas this year, They swabbed his nose, and found just what they feared, All that covid mucked up in his beard Yeah, Santa's under quarantine, taste buds are on the fritz Can't get fat if he won't eat his banana splits, Bout to give old Mrs Claus a case of fits Santa's getting tested, hour by hour each day Hoping for a clear to put on his cap and play Kids check their phones for news, things are looking grey Where did he catch it, how did he get to carrying it Does he have the Delta blues, or the Omicron variant Anderson Cooper wants to know and he's been querying him. Yeah, Santa's in the protocol, won't be no Xmas this year, Won't be no presents, the chimneys will all be clear, CNN says there'll be lots of jobless reindeer.

What a great and creative write--a COVID Holiday song . . . impressive concept well executed. I like the blues vibe you have going on here . . . there's some part of me that would have liked bit of Chuck Berry in this one. But this is well done. Awesome rhymes and pop references in the write. Love that sax. Congrats on a slick tune!

I love Blues-Rock and this song is a good example of why I say that. Creative write and the backing tracks are so good! BIAB can deliver some great tracks ion demand.
Love the sax - reminds of Huey Lewis' sax player. Great choice.

Mr. TuneMonger, I seem to be quoting you much this morning. So much so that when you comment, you can start saying it's from both of us. This song, too, is one that fits right in my heart and ears. Very clever write. Excellent seasonal topic, and your lyrics are always so clever. Your vocal is perfect, too. At just under 3 minutes there's plenty of room for a harmonica solo. Maybe for the album version. Have a great Christmas, and thanks for this early gift.
