I know that this topic has to have been covered before, but I can't seem to find it. I am unable to get any midi tracks to render to wav files from BIAB 2021 or BIAB 2022 for Windows. I didn't change anything in my setup when this started. I tried upgrading and that didn't fix the problem. I know that that this has something to do with the setup for MIDI IN / OUT drivers, but after watching 5 different youtube videos, I can't seem to figure it out.
I do not use any midi equipment. I programmed in a chord progression that I like, and the BIAB style uses midi instruments. I can hear them on my computer, and see the mixer VU meter as green. But when I try to render to wav files, RealTracks render, and midi track render as empty. Like I said, I didn't change anything in my configuration when this started.
Since it started, I have changed my configuration a few dozen times, but nothing seems to have worked. There are lots of resources that state that the Midi input/ output isn't properly setup, but none of them have step-by-step walkthoughs of what the settings should be when you don't USE ANY MIDI equipment.
The forum here won't let me post a screenshot of the issue. I want to know exactly what I need to select in every single field in MIDI/Audio Drivers Setup.

OK, here are some setup pics for you. Took me a while because midi was not working!! So I tried a different file and that one worked with these settings. Can you send us your file - it may be file specific.
Nevertheless, it did work. This is newest BIAB 2022. I added the midi test file. Just download and remove the .txt portion of the name.
That fixed my issue. I did not have the SynthFont 64 set as the VSTi/DXi Synth, I guess. I could not find the information that you supplied in that format anywhere in the manual, or in 5 different YouTube videos.
