Has anyone investigated the new playable realtracks in biab2022? Does this mean we can now assign a real track to a midi track and replace the virtual synth? Can POwer tracks use realtracks? I don't use the pgmusic daw, but what are the possibilities there?
What are the possibilities now for real time stage work?
I will be upgrading to biab 2022 when the dust settles.

Watched the playable tracks section this morning. You can access the notes assigned to a realtrack and change them. The entire range of sampled sounds from that instrument appears to be available. Seems to be a high quality sample database to me and should be available for midi or real time keyboard controller. This opens up a whole new market for Peter and his crew on Vancouver Island.

It would be nice if you could play automatically like Yamaha automatic accompaniment piano. Each style has intro, verse, chorus, bridge, end Mapped to the keyboard, it can be played on the spot...

Seems to be a high quality sample database to me and should be available for midi or real time keyboard controller.
Being able to select and delete specific notes in the Realtrack does make editing so much easier! And for the sounds that can be added, those are from the Hi-Q instruments which are the same as the MIDI SuperTracks. If you want to work on a MIDI track with these sounds, outside of a RealTrack, you can select it here:
