There are some things that can be done, but until all the RealDrums have drum stems, they take some surgical editing. You can actually edit the levels of the raw sounds in the audio files once you identify them.

The irony here is that I’ve played with Danny Gottlieb in concert, and he has what most of us consider the finest cymbal roll in the jazz world. He is a supremely tasteful player.
