When you're importing MIDI there are a couple of entries on the import dialog:
"Number of bars to offset from start of MIDI File"
and
"Number of bars to insert at the beginning"

One of those should fix it. The second, I think, probably wants 2 in it, to push the MIDI past BiaB's count-in pars.
