Thanks for posting. _BAL2TGS.wma is not new but is there on the BIAB HD. Band-in-a-Box should be searching for the demo in your external RealTracks folder location, I'm not sure why it isn't. In my testing it does correctly search the custom location.

You could copy the contents of the bb\RealTracks\Data folder from your external USB drive to C:\bb\RealTracks\Data. This is about 10GB or so. It doesn't address the cause, but at least this will fix the problem for you right now.
