Love that strong bass, Bud. Great tone. You guys are really knocking me out with these videos. Each one better than the last, which was already good. Wish I was your neighbor, man. You guys have so much fun. WOW, when you come in with that solo, Peter, it drives this magnificent song to the higher echelons of musical mastery. Janice, your vocals are superior and I love that you bring those background gals in to complete it.
[Now the word SCAT. I remember the first time I heard it was also what bears do in the woods. "No! That is what the best improvisational singers do." And where did that expression "going south" get to mean a bad thing? Heck, you guys prove both of my points.]

Thanks for all the comments on my part in this fun song.
Bud's emerging video production skills along with Janice's dancing & singing are wonderful highlights of this production.

Hi Janice, Bud and Peter,
Automatically I interpreted Scat in Dutch (Schat), but reading the lyrics, it meant something different.
Schat means darling and google couldn't tell me wat scat meant, but it has to be something nasty, like get lost.
And that is what Janice had to sing all the time; about those nasty men...
But the song is lovely, swinging and gives a cheerful mood when listening.
My feet are still swinging a bit. Will take some moments to stop that.
And the song is very well mixed. Sounded bright and bassy where it had to be.
Compliments for that to Peter (bright guitar) and Budd (swell mix) and of course Janice with brilliant vocals.

Hans Hahahaha Scat singing is a term for what mostly jazz or jazzy big band singers used to do. Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong were the masters of it. The singer just riffs verbal sounds that aren't actually words to sometimes imitate an instrument. Scatting is what Janice is doing during the dance. Scat also means go away. So the name of the song was intended to be a double entendre. Glad you like it and that it got your feet swinging!! Happy Holidays! J&B
