I've already commented on this idea elsewhere.? It could work for MIDI, I think, but not RealTracks. Plus, you would generate songs that are unique to the BIAB installation that created them, in which you defined that particular chord.

well, that's fine..... I still see BB as a MIDI program, so to speak. What I mean is that I see it like a world where I can look into. Nothing wrong with that... for example, often I spend hours listening and examining songs taken from the BB midi library. There's great stuff there, right now I am really digging the Soundtrack Fakebook, I'll probably buy Volume 2 , too. I just learn a lot with midi.

The Realtracks to me are just a great option, that's all, but there are certain things that can be done only with MIDI, especially in the writing and composing department....we all know it's peculiar advantages, for example you can compose a difficult part but not be able to play it because, say, you compose a lot but your performing chops are not so hot. Just slow the tempo ( by a lot ) and press 'record' and voila', you devised your creation nonetheless. This could never be done with Realtracks, but still the Realtracks offer their own evident advantages. Well I am sure I am not telling you any new things to you guys. My point is: why having just one thing or another? Let's just be complete, and have MIDI, Realtracks, and the ability to define your chords. Let's have the whole lot, then we will all be happy

BB rocks
