Step 1 is using the correct Picker for your search. Band-in-a-Box has a RealDrums Picker, RealTracks Picker and the Style Picker. Sounds simple but if you use the Style Picker for the majority of your searches it's easy to overlook the other two.

Step 2 is to effectively use the Picker filter. As an example, in the RealDrums Picker I copied and pasted "Dholak Hnad drums" from your post and didn't get any hits but when I used just "Dholak" I received the hits below.

If you're looking for a specific guitar, piano or bass you will need to add words to the RealTrack filter to narrow the choices down since there are so many RealTrack instruments of these kinds.

With styles I'm typically thinking wanting that emulates a specific song or artist so in the Style Picker I typically start by filtering on a song or artist name.

Interesting question. I think mastering the Pickers is key to saving time when inspiration first strikes. The sooner you can find the material you're seeking the more enjoyment you'll receive in return.
