Thanks for your feedback. Very nice that you like the song. At first I thought the vocals were a bit too rocky but I think the song and its melody can take it

Merry Christmas, Andi. Yes, you bring out the magic of memories for this --the best time of the year. You are a true treat on this forum, my friend. I missed the family get-togethers this year because I tested covid positive after taking care of others with the disease, and played your song many many times. You are right. The vocals are a bit unusual.
That's because the lyrics were already done and I usually write the lyrics after the music. The song I chose for this lyric just didn't want to fit the lyrics. At some point I started singing the bridge faster. And lo and behold, it fit ;-)))
I would never have sung it like that otherwise.
But somehow I like it.
