Hi - sort of a new user here. I want to use BIAB to generate drum tracks to export to a DAW. Using a style and opening the notation window and making it editable, I can add a custom drum fill and I see the notes turning red when playing back, but I don't hear anything except the original drum track. I'm assuming I'm generating a midi event? If so, can I make the event trigger a single audio drum hit from the same style I am using? Is this even possible? Am I going about this the right way? Thanks!

Wow, very first posting and you are in the deep end of the pool using the new features of 2022 for playable real tracks with Drums! Some one will have to tell us if playable real tracks works with RealDrums?
Otherwise, besides welcoming you to the forum, best I can advise is if you don't hear midi you have not configured your midi synth properly. Can you hear any midi in any of the standard BIAB songs??

You cannot directly edit a Real Drum part. What they did this year is give you individual drum stems for "some" Real Drum parts. This allows you to put the individual stems into your DAW for mixing but you still cannot change individual hits to change the rhythm. This is for the actual audio (not midi) RD track.
The midi info you see I think is for drum notation only but I'm not sure. I know some Real Tracks do have a full midi file associated with them, not sure about the RD's.

I have not experimented with it in BiaB, but in the BiaB VST I have dragged the drum chart in and used a drum synth on them. Then in thenDAW you can alter and enhance the midi
HP Win 11 12 gig ram, Mac mini with 16 gig of ram, BiaB 2025, Realband, Reaper 7, Harrison Mixbus 9 32c , Melodyne 5 editor, Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL, Presonus control app.

Thanks for the responses. I was assuming one could treat the track as a playable real track. That's too bad as it seems to me it would be easier to implement playable real drums than any other instrument. As far as hearing what I think is midi, I would want the event to trigger audio from real drums, so I do not need a midi device, unless I sample the drum parts myself and load them onto my synth. hmmmmm
