Hi Mario,
I think the use on the page to which you linked refers to Control Change messages that perform continuous control function, i.e., "continuous control" is a description of the particular controls described, rather than their name.
As I said, pedantic. It's because I used to spend so much time writing specifications and trying to avoid ambiguities. I struggle to stop myself.
Thanx Gordon. I feel your pain as I used to have to write SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). I will try to change my naming and call them Control Changes from now on. That is if I can remember; I have a bad case of CRS!
