i can get te TTS1, \and the halion se to work in RB but the syntfont64 with timbres of jeaven loaded is silent. i see green meter activity but get no sound. synthfont 64 plays fine in BIAB.
i get a nag screen that asks me to pay $15 which i wouldn't mind but will that cure the problem? i recall a previous post somewhere that said synthfont as supplied with BIAB needed patching. i have also seen Jim Fogles's tip on laoding the update from the vendor.
i have to remember to set GM mode in the halion - am i missing something equally obvious in synthfont?
Bob, I have the "paid for" version of Synthfont (which includes the VST, along with the stand-alone and some other tools). Below are the steps I take to change soundfonts from the interface. If you change the default soundfont, all channels use that particular soundfont (so the sounds automatically change with a multi-timbral soundfont), but you can also select individual soundfonts for specific channels. Anyway, I hope this helps. I don't know if your problem is because it isn't registered, but it definitely works to change soundfonts. I just changed mine from the Reality Soundfont to the Timbres of Heave Soundfont.
