Hi all. I have been going through some styles and noticed this.
"Intensity" Score=60/100"
It's probably been there forever, it's that I just noticed it.
Anyone know what it means. Thanks in advance. Rob4580

My interpretation would be how true it is in terms of a rating to the generic style category it's assigned to.

I could find a forum post with the term "genre intensity score" from 2018. I could not find any explanation of the term, so I have asked the developers.

OK, I have some feedback to share.
Click on the Other drop-down in the style picker window. Then select Filter by genre intensity score ... for some examples.
In a quick look through the Bossa songs, I found the 'intensity' score as far back as 2012. However, not all styles had the score. This was hardly an exhaustive review, just a spot check. So apparently, this feature has been present for many years.
I've asked for more clarification.

"Intensity" means how "intense" the music is. Smooth jazz and calm acoustic stuff will be on the lower end of the scale with a score up to 35 or so, Pop might be 35-60, medium rock might be 60-80, and heavy metal would be 80 and up.
It's possible for the Stylepicker to filter by Intensity from the "Other" filter menu. You can choose a pre-defined range, or set your own custom range.
