It would be possible to put BB in the clouds, and would be very useful for some purposes.

But I remain conservatively skeptical on the general utility of cloud-based computing.

Assuming that the cloud is alway available then everything is wonderful. In ordinary situations perhaps we could assume that the cloud will always be available. After all, one can't easily plan against all possible hazards.

OTOH, if the cloud has an outage, the gadget degrades into a fashionable, attractive-industrial-designed boat anchor. Actually it isn't heavy enough to be a proper boat anchor, paperweight, or door stop. Perhaps it would at least be useful as a cup coaster to keep water stains off the fine furniture <g>.
