the cloud computing i am interested in , is what i was discussing the
other day with some good folks on another forum.
viz..in real time for example ten musicians all jamming together
via the net and recording to seperate traks in a daw. without latency probs.
it was generally agreed it wasnt doable at the moment or even in the future
even with upgraded net comms facilities at ultra hi speeds.
one of the basic probs being comms switch latency etc etc.
the ipad for some might be an interesting thing to play with ,
but with the A4 processor i see limitations.
i would sooner use a quad core i7 laptop once prices come down and lappies
are re engineered.
i just dont see the "oomph" power wise in the ipad to do complex things
requiring serious processing power//songs.
