The moment you started singing I liked that voice!
Ok, sometimes you were fighting to stay in tune in your song, but you have a very pleasant voice. No matter what some bloke had said to you on that. It was maybe your mistake to listen to him, still remember what he said, because he was/is wrong.
So your -late- teacher was right. And you listened to him.
And stay doing so.
