I'm not sure how that fits my scenario. Here's one example:
- Load a MIDI style with an acoustic piano track. In the one I just loaded (MOVIN.STY), that track invokes the GM2 acoustic piano patch
- My default General MIDI plugin is Cakewalk TTS-1, so that shows in the Plugins tab.
- I'd like a way to tell BiaB that when I want to invoke the GM2 Acoustic Piano patch, it should load my Pianoteq plugin for that track. Ya, that is not how it works. Your Pianoteq is a VST which has to be installed on the piano track. The Default midi synths (sounds) are .dll files which are installed in a different way. Now, I may be a bit wrong on all this, but it is something like this.  The only way to default to a VST is as Jim instructed. I use VSTs for my piano in BIAB all the time. Works well. But I install on the track when I need them. Dan By the way, I am a big Pianoteq fan.
