Hi!

I love Synthesia as much as I love BiaB, and sometimes I save a BiaB file as midi, in order to display it in Synthesia. I say sometimes, because ... well, I'd love to do that MUCH more often (e.g. in order to check out characteristics of BiaB styles, or to play along a BiaB trumpet melody with a Synth Sound of my Piano, and so on), but I'm often a bit too ... hmm kind of lazy? ... hm, well, that kind of thing which is caused by media breaks and which is just the typical reason for a plugin, right?

Therefore, it would be really fantastic if there would exist a plugin which allows to display the notes of BiaB within Synthesia, so that the user can toggle the song (e.g. Start Play, Stop, Loop, Click on a specific bar to jump within the song, change chords / reharmonize, and so on) in BiaB and also hear the sound from BiaB as well as see the chordsheet in BiaB, but see the Synthesia Note Highway synchronized on a second screen.

For those, who might not be very familiar with Synthesia (if still existing, at all): You can choose there to display only one track of a midi (e.g. only the Piano), or to display several tracks in different colours (e.g. the Piano track and the Bass track, or the Piano track and the Drums track, or - if existing - a Right Hand Piano Track and a Left Hand Piano Track; displaying several tracks at once can for example help for rhytmical orientation) up to all tracks at once (then it's often a bit messy).

Here's just one example of the endless number Youtube Videos that nowadays are made with Synthesia:

Oh, and please ... if you can resist: I don't look for a discussion about the advantages of sheet music in comparison to note highways. Just accept that tons of people see at least an additional value in note highways - that's why so many of those videos do in fact exist on Youtube ;-)

BiaB Pro 2022; Windows 10
Bass: Intermediate; Piano: Beginner
I came to this forum in order to suggest feature improvements for non-professional musicians like myself that use BiaB mainly as a playalong tool and as a learning tool
