OK I may have this one. I had a possibly similar situration with VituralMidiSynth which is a sound Synth much like your TTS-1 (maining it is not a DXi which is loaded in another place in BIAB).

Edit- Sorry. I reread the post. Seems you TTS-s is a DXi which is not set up in the pictues I have here. But this may help you appreciate how hard/confusing this can be. The sound you are missing is coming from your Default Synth. You just have to tweek somethings. Keep pushing buttons. Look at the final picute I added and see how I change from the VisturalMidiSynth back to my default synth.

So my system has several Win10 outs for speakers. I found that for some reason the output Win device was set to my ASIO system. Now I don't use that for BIAB so those speakers are generally off. And I would hear no midi sound. I had to open up the separate standalone configuration app which came with VirtualMIDISynth to the driver where to play the sound. See the picures below.

Any chance you have some similar configuration, (multiple speaker system?) cause this took me weeks to discover.
