There are two guitarists on my CD: Romero Lubambo on acoustic guitar (he's about the best there is from Brazil) and Jeff Ciampa doing sweeteners on electric guitar. Both performed their parts from lead sheets.

I often write collisions, though there are not many on Brazilian Wish since I wrote those tunes to be great grooves on each song. Pianists are always telling me we can't go to this chord from that chord, and my reply is, yes, we can; let's stretch a little! They come around once they hear it.
