Thanks John & Matt. You know how it goes... you miss one newspaper and you are out of the loop with the techie terms.
Matt, I am right there with you. Being a former north-easterner I was around a variety of styles that contained brass arrangements. Everything from Latin influenced jazz to fusion and some of what I call "Con-fusion" was there at one time. Which package of BIAB gave you the South American styles you auditioned? Presently, I have the package one level up from the basic. There are a lot of styles. I would just like to see more in the vein of the styles of Jazz that have more of a Latin or Funk influence. If I had my choice that is the pocket I would like to play in.
