maybe the + symbol is exporting the midi files as audio and that's what's playing? would explain why the OP gets all the instruments playing - maybe they are playing as audio not MIDI?
anyway we've all got it to work for what we want it to do Right. But after working in research for almost 40 years these anomalies have a propensity to drive me
