From the postings on the Melodyne forum there are issues with several of the major programs like cakewalk and Pro tools and the Melodyne DNA editor.
Don't know about Reaper since I have still not gotten the hang of most of the ways to work with in Reaper. There is a update 1.1? to DNA editor coming out soon and if it were me, I'd wait till there was some positive feed back before jumping on the cutting/bleeding edge of DNA. I think it's a great program when more bugs are worked out , just my 2 cents. Wyndham

plotzie.
is it a lot of voc notes out of tune ??
if not , n its just the odd one here n there...
ya dont need melodyne.
just hilite note in reap n split it...go to item properties n change the semitones value.
reap as you know also has its own plug ins for this. reatune perhaps ??
tho ive never used it.
heres a trik to help vocs stay in tune.
before singing the vocs..record a synth trak of the vocal notes to sing against.
its an old trik of course n might help.
me...i'm a purist n just do the line till i get it right..lol.

Good suggestion from Manning1 above, but - Melodyne is an incredible tool.

I have not been able to get it operational as a Rewire or plugin in Reaper (I use 64Bit Reaper and my version of Melodyn is 32Bit which is one reason I stopped trying), however, Melodyne does have a standalone applications for which you can simply export the vocal track from Reaper to a wave file, then input into Melodyn for processing, then reverse the process to get it back into Reaper. A little convoluted but final results can be very nice.
