FWIW, I personally think, with jazz standards at least, that playing rootless occasionally is fine. Other's may disagree. I definitely would agree. The Bass generally creates cohesion by delivering fundamental structure. Exacerbating into alternatives is often very useful, provides color and dimension, but (unless it's Ray Brown), it's not always necessary to the foundation of the song structure.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
