Well, I checked under my hat (after retrieving it from the hat-check girl) but what was there hardly mattered (being grey and all). I will say 'great job all the way around' and 'good use of BIAB' and whatever other forum review platitudes exist besides those two. Here's another: 'always enjoy what you post.' But actually, I quite do. Got my grey matter percolating, and that's a good thing. Thanks for the creativity. I do appreciate the platitudes. And I can hardly remember how we got to talking about brain matter in a coffee pot, but no regrets here. Take care…

Mark... just wanted to let you know, I listened as long as I could. I do appreciate the effort... Thanks for your honesty. I can certainly understand. Anything in particular that bothered you? Anyway, maybe somebody else will see your comment and listen because they want to hear what was so bad, and that will be good! =8^) It's probably just me... maybe its just over my head. I know I didn't care for the la la lyrics... and I couldn't dance to it... I tried.

It's probably just me... maybe its just over my head. Nah, I think you just don't like it. =8^) I should mention that digging this music is not an intellectual affair on my part. Believe me, it's not like I listen to those chord changes and hear any of that 12-tone theory (which I suspect is largely obliterated in the process of biaberization anyway.) I have no idea what's going on here, structurally. I just hear pretty melodies or pounding rock motifs. I actually enjoy listening to this stuff, and it's all just by ear. Oh, and I did hear those lyrics, too, but that's another matter entirely...

Well, I can appreciate the artistry here and the skills and creativity it takes to put something like this together . . . but not my cup of tea. Still, others will like it a lot. So is the subjectivity of music.

I am presently working on a version of "Verklärte Nacht" (Transfigured Night) which will be, unlike this piece, an actual recognizeable version of that composition, in which the original score and the BIAB tracks play together. Please stay tuned.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
