Created a simple rhythm guitar VST usertrack (wav format)which works and sounds perfect. When adding this usertrack to a random style the quality is a little odd. Some bars are ok but the majority have this annoying glitch at the very start of the chord. Hard to describe. The ability to attach mp3 files to the post would be helpful. I did explain this in detail in an email to PG but no reply.

You can attach an .mp3 file using this link:
BIAB & RB2026 Win.(Audiophile), Windows 10 Pro & Windows 11, Cakewalk Bandlab, Izotope Prod.Bundle, Roland RD-1000, Synthogy Ivory, Session Keys Grand S & Electric R, Kontakt, Focusrite 18i20, KetronSD2, NS40M, Pioneer Active Monitors.
One thing to think about is how much your UserTrack is being transposed on a given style and chord progression. This affects many things and an attack on the same chord played at 80BPM will sound a little different at 140 BPM. The audio gets sped up/down. Any chance the start point on a given section is a little too close to the beat and possibly causing the glitch? Just a thought.
The opposite is also possible, if the chord is late and slower, it won't have the same strum (attack) sound either.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome Make your sound your own!
Hi, thanks for your reply. I don't see File Manager in the post options. Only this : Add this thread to my Watched Topics. Add my signature to this post.

I think you just need to press the Reply button, not the Quick Reply:

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes I understand that tempos can affect the sound quality etc. The usertrack wave file did match the tempo of the style I chose. Interesting thought about offsetting the start of each chord change, I'll give that a go. I am suspecting it's the programme that's causing it as the freebie accordian usertrack has the same affect but not as noticable. Just looking for a work around before being creative with the old Fender.
Attached 2 mp3 files. acoustic.mp3 was created for the usertrack folder. acoustic2.mp3 is the rendered audio from a style using acoustic.mp3 as a usertrack.

Thanks for your replies. I was a little surprised the difference between the 2 mp3's were not noticed, apart from the mentioned glitch at 1.36 in acoustic2.mp3. The split second start of most of the chords in acoustic2.mp3 have this weird like slide effect. I feel convinced it's due to the conversion BIAB does when making the audio playable as a usertrack. I'd be interested to know if someone took my acoustic.mp3 and made their own usertrack and experienced the same problem.
Hi, just been experimenting more and it's Kontakts Strummed Acoustic that's at fault here. I created another usertrack using Musiclabs realstrat and it's perfect. So it seems I've been wasting everybody's time for which I apologise. The only annoying thing is that BIAB sometimes selects different inversions of the same chord.
Hi, thanks for the info. Did what you suggested but it still plays different variations of the same chord. ie 2 bars of E plays (not always) 1st bar ok 2nd bar as if you're playing the chord higher up the neck. I guess it's something I'll have to live with.
Yes that's what is does usually when you just have short userstrack without a lot of material it will transpose to give more variation. You should be able to make some longer userstracks if you are using MusicLabs RealGuitars. You can create a midi chord track in Biab or BBPlugin for RealGuitar to follow.
Hi, I actually use Cubase and input the chords from the usertrack templates, then export the audio for the usertrack. Am I right in thinking you can create your own SGU file for this purpose. I realise the usertrack folder can accommodate as many SGU files as you wish. I'm thinking whilst I'm at it I could add some more keys and also more complex chords.
YES do that as you are not having to play it yourself, the more material the better. I think with MusicLab also you can send the midi out to another VSTi and get different sound.
