At the moment where you want a hold you can can select the bar's then go into MultiRiff (F8) then choose a RealTrack for that section so it will play a RealTrack Hold. This will work best if the UserTracks is Direct Input as well as the RealTrack Hold as you will have the same FX applied to both to blend. But if they allow UserTracks in the Multiriff you could then just have a UserTrack that is just holds, then you just change UserTracks at that bar.
You can actually create your own Holds number in D:\bb\RealTracks\Library\Holds or D:\bb\RealTracks\DirectInput\Library\Holds but then you need to set an unused RealTrack to that Hold and use it in the MultiRiff dialog. BUT we should not have to do all these 'workarounds' all the time, like hello !, just give UserTracks Holds already.
Hi, sorry can't get my head round that, but what I did and thought would work was create holds in all keys. I Used the import audio for one of the hold waves and you're given the option to send to an Audio track or Utility track. Input bar 5 re-generated and it played somewhere in between bar 4. Repeated for bar 37 2nd chorus and that didn't work. No matter what I try the audio has a mind of it's own as to when or where it plays. Do you think I should send an email to BIAB, maybe a bug. Good news is all the usertracks I've created have 4 SGU files in each covering variations in chords work perfect and no chords sounding improper, ie for example the chord of E plays correctly with no inversions like it's been played higher up the neck.
If you can post a pic of what you do would help. You can freeze the tracks in an instance of Biab set to your song bpm then drag n drop the holds track into it then set the master base tempo to the tempo of the Holds. Copy what you want then paste it into your other instance of Biab that has the UserTrack you can set it to snap or if you want the hold to play early don't use snap.

That's great ! if we can finally get PG to add Shots n Holds it will be awesome.
Hi, cracked it with your help but it's a bit clarty. Opened Audio Chord Wizard (Audio Edit) Dragged the hold audio wave to the bar required. Playback doesn't play in the correct position. By closing Audio Chord Wizard (Audio Edit) and re opening it plays correctly. Adding other wave files by dragging them is simple and works perfect. Changing the style key also pitch shifts the hold audio which is good,
