It's not sorted out yet.

I'm beginning to suspect it might be a PG Music problem and with huertaaj's permission I am going to involve them in it.

The thing that I find curious is that only one person is reporting the problem.

So far
Quote:

It seems when loading an error message occurs, clicking through the message loads the file, then when it is saved it no longer has the file, nor the memo. So I sent out (1) an unzipped file of the same song he sent me (2) the same file without a memo (3) a different file from fake e-disk #5 assigned with a MIDI file and (4) a style from fake e-disk #37 with a real style.

The unzipped file (1) loads fine

The same file without the memo (2) loads fine

A style from fake disk 5 (3) loads fine

A file from fake disk #37 loads fine.

So, suspecting perhaps something in the old zip got corrupted, I re-zipped the disk huertaaj bought and e-mailed it to him. After unzipping, the same problem occurred.

Is the zip compression leaving something essential out? And if so, why only on one person's computer?

To be continued ... ... ...
