What a wonderful thing to be able to do this, yes? To take inspiration from another's song and create something that is truly, and deeply, yours. Thank you for sharing this, on this particular occasion.

I have my own resonances here. I also had two fathers, but in both cases my story was like John's song continues, so, no love songs for them.

Thanks for your thoughts on my piece. I do plan on making a second, sweeter part, from the same original composition, and that will complete this project.
