Just seconds before I was going to hop on a mentoring call with NSAI today (Nashville Songwriters) I saw I had a NSAI eval come in for a song I wrote as a joke for a sync licensing possibility elsewhere. I never gave it a second thought--until I got the best review I have ever received from Nashville. For old school redneck. This is a snippet: "LYRICS: I love how you open the song! Think you have a really good bar drinking old country song and it’s amazing. MELODY: I think this would be great for sync. I think there is a market for this! I miss this kind of country music on the radio and I wish it would come back!" Hmmmm. Floyd, Herb, and the rest of the gang, put your boots back on boys and girls.
