I download song files from a site with many jazz songs. Many of those are mgu files, perhaps all of them? After learning the songs I would like to remove the melody, is there any way of doing this? I can´t find a solution in the help manual, though perhaps I hove not posed the question properly. Can someone help me with this function? Thank you in advance 0zoro
Btw, are there any sites to share that have jazz songs ready for downloading?
With the later versions of BiaB, the mute setting is saved with the song, so you could just apply mute to the melody track. With earlier versions, mute isn't saved but the volume level is saved, so you could just set the volume to zero for the melody track, and save the song.

Hello 0zoro! Can you confirm what version year for the program you're using so that we can best assist? Menu options can vary a little bit from version year to version year, but as AudioTrack mentioned above, in the newer versions the volume should be saving once you apply the mute.

Thanks for your input and suggestions. I am running 2021 BIAB. Thanks to your suggestions I believe I have found a solution. It is, go to the mixer, press the eyeball looking thing on the lower right of the mixer, there a menu shows and I have chosen "show all active". After which I am able to mute for example the melody tracks which were previously not shown to me. My previous setting has allowed for occasionally hiding a track that was either melody or a harmony type with that musical midi sound that was driving me crazy. I believe it is all solved. Had it not been for your responses I wouldn´t even have noticed that eyeball symbol.
